Gameosaurus.com is a gaming and general-interest geekdom blog run by two working twentysomethings. We have little to no time for anything but insist on having a domain name and a podcast and the color orange.
Gameosaurus Rex (Pete Mergenthaler) is a 26-year-old compulsive shopper who refuses to finish his games, his books and his chores. As a local newspaper lackey living under the specter of layoffs, he hopes he can one day parlay his favorite hobby into something vaguely profitable. His five favorite games are MAXIMO 2, RATCHET AND CLANK: GOING COMMANDO, FINAL FANTASY IX, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: THE WIND WAKER and SUPER MARIO WORLD.
The Gameodactyl (Pat Gann) is in many ways the polar opposite of his fearless leader, as he refuses to not finish his work, games included. Though he patrols the landscape at an altitude of 30,000 feet, this gameosaur's vision of gaming is fairly narrow. He snacks on a healthy diet of cheese, crackers and RPGs, and his all-time favorite games include FINAL FANTASY IX, SUPER METROID, METROID PRIME, LUNAR 2: ETERNAL BLUE, and SUPER MARIO WORLD. His greatest challenge? Balancing multiple freelance-writing jobs, an office job, and three baby dactyls.
